Interview with CFSS Parent

“I have been receiving Community Care’s CFSS service for about 6 months or more since being referred by my son’s case manager. The consistent appointments and structured behavior plans around my son’s needs have been so helpful. The support worker and clinician are persistent and patient during his difficult behaviors. Recently, this support resulted in a breakthrough and a successful outcome. What I like the best about the service is seeing my son use and implement the skills he learns from the staff. I would want other parents to know it is ok to seek help for their children. Parents that have children that have a mental illness have it 5 times as hard. Having support helps you and your child succeed every day. This is my first experience receiving HCT and it has been a blessing.”
