Youth Peer Support Statewide Network
Youth Peer Support Statewide Network (YPSSN)

YPSSN is an exciting resource open to eligible Maine residents between the ages of 14 and 26. Beginning in Spring 2025, these services will be provided through Community Care.
Peer Supports working in YPSSN have all self-identified with the experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges and are specially trained in intentional peer support. Youth and young adults work in partnership with program staff, supporting each other to build meaningful insight that assists them in navigating their journey, by centering mutual respect and open and honest communication.
All services listed below are provided in multiple settings throughout the state:
- 1-1 youth peer support (online and in-person)
- Drop-in hours (online and in-person)
- Support groups (online and in-person)
